Join us for a mushroom walk with world-renowned mycologist Noah Siegel at 10am at the Putney Forest for Learning. Noah is a leading expert in US field mycology as well as a celebrated mushroom field guide author. We will take a short, easy hike, looking for fungi as we go.

We will take a short, easy hike, looking for fungi as we go.
We will meet in the parking area by the swimming pool and will stick around for 10-15 minutes before we start walking. We will be on the trails for about 2 hours, and we will reconvene afterwards to discuss our finds and eat lunch for another hour.
Please bring water, lunch, bug spray, and a basket or paper bag to carry your finds. Waxed paper bags, paper egg cartons, and a pocket knife can also be helpful for collecting mushrooms.Please dress for hiking, keeping in mind that we will be walking off trails and there are…
